The CR-Plus Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is portable electronic devices that will automatically diagnose the potentially life threatening cardiac arrhythmias of ventricular fibrillation. After the electrode pads are applied, the fully automatic model evaluates the heart rhythm and, if a shockable rhythm is detected, delivers a shock without any responder assistance.
The semiautomatic model evaluates the heart rhythm but requires the responder to press the shock button if a shockable rhythm is detected. Both models have voice instructions that guide the responder through the defibrillation process. Hospitals, emergency medical services and minimally-trained lay responders rely on Physio-Control LIFEPAK CR PLUS in the most urgent cardiac emergencies.
Semi-automatic With the semiautomatic Medtronic LIFEPAK CR Plus the rescuer assess the person in sudden cardiac arrest, then open the device and apply the electrodes. The device analyzes the heart’s rhythm and tells the rescuer to push a button if the heart needs a shock.
